Prenatal Mat Pilates classes
At My Pilates M.O. we believe in the importance of a strong, mobile body throughout all stages of life, particularly when the demand put upon it, increases. Pilates is a wonderful all round exercise suitable for most people. Pilates exercises can be adapted easily, which makes it the perfect exercise to support your changing body throughout pregnancy and the post natal period. Pre Natal Pilates classes are on the Reformer, Post Natal classes are on the Mat. Please see below for more information.
You will need to complete a Perinantal Health Questionnaire before you can start your prenatal classes.

Facilitates recovery of the abdominal muscles and Diastasis Rectus Abdominus (DRA or separation of the Linea Alba)
Strengthens and mobilises the body to cope with the demands of the postnatal period
Encourages group interaction with others in a similar situation
Can help to reduce anxiety and postnatal depression
Allows you to exercise mindfully and listen to your body, learning when to rest
